Instead, there is a belfry in the churchyard with a bell that was cast by Laurentius Strahlborn from Lübeck in 1738. Above the south portal is a sandstone alliance coat of arms of the v. Holstein/v. Bülow family. At the end of the last century, a low, rectangular family crypt was added to the west as a burial place for the lords of the manor.
