Shores, artists, royal chair: the Baltic Sea coastal cycle route

The Ostseeküsten-Radweg leads cyclists on almost 700 kilometers from Travemünde to Usedom. The route stretches along seascapes, vast expanses of forest and lunar Baltic Sea shores. During the 15-day tour, cyclists pass the UNESCO World Heritage city of Wismar, explore Heiligendamm, Germany's first seaside resort, and follow in the footsteps of great artists in the former artists' colony of Ahrenshoop. Finally, you cycle around the island of Rügen on the Baltic Sea coastal cycle path and past the imposing Künigsstuhl until you reach the final stage in Ahlbeck on Usedom.

Popular excursion destinations such as the Timmendorf lighthouse on the island of Poel or the OZEANEUM Stralsund can be reached on the long-distance cycle route along the Baltic Sea

On the road between major cities and the Mecklenburg Lake District: the Berlin-Copenhagen long-distance cycle route 

The Berlin-Copenhagen Cycle Route takes you from capital city to capital city. There are sixteen stages to cover here. Vibrant cities and medieval Hanseatic towns, glistening lakes and rustic beech forests adorn the route and guarantee an impressive experience that is hard to beat in terms of variety. Cyclists start the section through Mecklenburg-Vorpommern at Ellbogensee lake south of Neustrelitz.

The Müritz, the queen of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern's lakes, is on the program, as are the towns of Güstrow and Rostock, which are famous for their brick buildings. A visit to the Müritzeum or Güstrow Castle should definitely be included in your plans. The Berlin-Copenhagen long-distance cycle route continues along the Warnow to the Baltic Sea. Finally, the ferry takes you from Rostock to the south of Denmark until the Danish capital of Copenhagen welcomes you to your destination.

From the capital to the sunny island: the Berlin-Usedom long-distance cycle route

Entrepreneurs can cycle from the city to their vacation on the Berlin-Usedom long-distance cycle route. In just eight days, travelers set off from the German capital to the idyllic island on the Baltic Sea. They travel along the Uecker river through the Am Stettiner Haff nature park to Ueckermünde. Dense pine and birch forests adorn the path, while from Ueckermünde the view sweeps over fine sandy beaches and tucked-away fishing villages. If you like, you can plan a detour to the diving gondola at the Seebrücke Zinnowitz or to the Historisch-Technisches Museum Peenemünde . From Anklam, the Berlin-Usedom cycle path finally leads to its final stage on the sunny island of Usedom.
