Travel carefree – in harmony with nature

Take the train to the Baltic coast, cycle to the island of Rügen or take the bus to the countryside? The versatile transport system in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern offers countless options and therefore the best conditions for a relaxed journey in the spirit of sustainability.

If you want to travel in a particularly environmentally conscious way, you can even reach the federal state via one of the nine long-distance cycle routes&nbsp. For fuel-free discovery tours, there are also a large number of publicly accessible charging stations as well as car-sharing and rental offers for electric cars.

Many towns and regions are also coming up with ideas locally so that their guests can be both comfortable and climate-friendly on vacation: In addition to buses and trains, rental bikes, e-bikes and e-scooters are available in the towns and cities. In addition, the ÖPNV takes passengers directly to the most beautiful cycling and hiking trails.

Calculate the carbon footprint of your travel, accommodation and activities. You'll get tips that really make a difference, find vacation offers with a smaller footprint and can offset this directly on site using regional eco-papers from MV.
