Reading and Discussion in Collaboration with “Frau Rilke Buchladen”
Through striking photographs and selected text excerpts, the two authors examine the period after 1989 and the realities of life for people in eastern Germany. In the discussion that follows, Knut Elstermann and Holger Herschel will offer insights into the book’s creation and invite the audience to engage in a conversation about memory, identity, and social change.
The evening will be moderated by Kathrin Matern from the Frau Rilke bookstore. After the event, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase the book at the book table and have it signed by the authors.
