In his first solo show, Björn von Morgenstern talks about growing up in a small town—from the roundabout festival to other creative events.
Björn von Morgenstern talks about how crazy the big, wide world is when you don’t learn about most things until much later than everyone else. So it’s no wonder that he also took a rather creative approach to his time in the German Armed Forces. Things rarely get serious—instead, they’re always absurd and funny.
Björn von Morgenstern is currently the most sought-after newcomer on the German comedy scene. He’s a stand-up comedian and acted in theater from the ages of 15 to 18. In 2013, he took first place in the “Witty Remarks” category at his high school graduation (in a combined graduating class).
From that moment on, it was clear that he would eventually take his stories to the stage—and that time has now come. Björn talks about his life and the misunderstandings he’s experienced.
He enjoys leading the audience down the wrong path, only to take a completely different turn at the end. He’s best known for his smug grin—and by the end, it feels as though we’ve all been friends for ages.
