Every August since 1995, Ludwigslust's baroque palace park has been the main stage when international artists perform on over 20 stages. They entertain and enchant the audience with artistry and acrobatics, comedy and clowning, masks and marionettes, puppetry and pantomime.

    Organ sounds from baroque to modern

    Fritz Abs, former church musician at St. Georgen Parchim, opens the 2023 concert series in the Stadtkirche Ludwigslust with organ music. He will play the organ built by court organ builder Theodor Friedrich Friese in 1876 and take the audience on a journey through the musical history of Europe. Works by Johann Gottfried Walther, Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Louis Lefèbure-Wèly, Gaston Bèlier, Edvard Grieg, Siegfried Translateur and Matthias Nagel will be performed.
