DaS Neuwerk - German pop-rock from Erfurt
In every ending, there is also a new beginning. There's no better way to begin the story of how DaS NEUWERK came to be. When Daniel's former band broke up in 2016, there was a brief phase of self-discovery. After this, he looked ahead and started his first solo project. He couldn't do without music and so his debut album "Hier & Jetzt" was recorded in the Cubeaudio studios at the end of 2016. He had already collected enough material over the years.
2017 the songs were to be performed on stage for the first time. But solo artists or not, you need a band. A team that is just as passionate about the cause.
He found that in Fabian, Benjamin and Hannes, who had already been musically active together before. The chemistry was right. The audience was enthusiastic. They left the solo project behind and formed a permanent band. DaS NEUWERK was born.
Between 2017 and 2019, the quartet played around 100 concerts together and worked on new songs. With the material in their luggage, they went to the dluxe media studios in 2019, where they worked with producer Daniel Barbosa (Glasperlenspiel, von Welt, Staubkind) to create 12 songs for the band's debut "Teil eines Ganzen". And that is exactly what the artists see themselves as. Everyone is part of the band and each part contributes to the whole. Together they create the NEUWERK.
2023 the 4 musicians went back into the studio and composed the first songs for the upcoming time travel tour. From positive nostalgic memories to strong confessions and exuberant anticipation, they transport feelings more than ever directly into the hearts of their listeners. The first single "Bleib immer du selbst" was released on 26.04.2024.
