Every August since 1995, Ludwigslust's baroque palace park has been the main stage when international artists perform on over 20 stages. They entertain and enchant the audience with artistry and acrobatics, comedy and clowning, masks and marionettes, puppetry and pantomime.

    Insects in macro - photo exhibition at the Barth Bible Center

    Katrin Kunkel, Johann-Christoph Kornmilch and Michael Luhn photograph insects so closely that familiar animals become alien worlds. In the Blue House of the Bible Center, they show wing structures, compound eyes and fine body details that the naked eye hardly notices. The exhibition was created in collaboration with NABU Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

  • Beach Handball Cup Warnemünde 2026

    From June 12 to 14, 2026, the Beach Handball Cup Warnemünde will transform the widest sandy beach in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern into a top-class sports arena. In total, over 200 teams from the U10s to the ladies will compete for the title at the tournament. With a view of the sea, dinner right on the beach and a unique atmosphere, the weekend offers pure handball action on the Baltic Sea.

    Open Gardens by OTV Kummer Harry Baase

    The idea of upgrading the entrance to the village of Kummer was born in 2006, when Kummer was 600 years old. The mill and the mosquito refer to the mill village of Kummer. A cyclist's hut invites cyclists to linger. On the 5000 m² area behind the peat bog, many citizens, businesses and institutions have planted around 100 different, sometimes exotic trees and shrubs as well as 30 different colored rhododendrons. The park has become an oasis of peace and contemplation.
