TIP FOR FAMILIES: Beach Explorers in Karlshagen

Experience and discover the nature of the Baltic Sea—with our beach tour for the whole family. To understand why the Baltic Sea is such an important habitat, we’ll set out—armed with dip nets and magnifying glasses—to search for plants and animals and try to answer all the questions from young and old alike. What kinds of jellyfish live in the Baltic Sea? How do mussels actually feed? Why are the dunes so important? And do plants on the beach need sunscreen, too?
