Gisela Irmisch, a painter from Rostock, is presenting her works in an exhibition in Graal-Müritz.
The exhibition and sale will run through November 30, 2026, and can be viewed during the venue’s regular opening hours.
About the Artist
Born in Rostock in 1951 and raised there, she has always remained loyal to her hometown. After a career as a chemist in clinical research, she now devotes herself to the arts.
The enchanting local landscape—the Baltic Sea coast and the inland region—with its flowers, animals, and endearingly headstrong people constantly inspires her to pick up her paints and brushes. On long bike rides, she repeatedly finds alluring subjects to paint or ideas for stories for people of all ages.
She received her artistic training from local and international artists such as Henning Spitzer, Hartmut Klatt, Aram Galstyan, Ralf Heynen, and Anna Zasulskaya. She has successfully presented her paintings nationwide in numerous solo exhibitions.
