Cafés, Restaurants, holidays in the countryside, sustainable

The café-garden of the inn premises has always been the chocolate side of the property. Probably nowhere else can you see the Schaalsee better, understand it better, than from the hill in the immediate vicinity of the St. Abundus Church of Lassahn.

Enjoy our regional & organic snack offers (cheese, sausage & fish platters as well as organic soups) and let your eyes wander over the Schaalsee with a fair trade coffee and a delicious piece of cake.

The gastronomic history of the Seeblick: The Pankow family operated the restaurant from 1925 to 1945. These innkeepers added a floor to the main building in 1936. Gisa and Dieter Redmann ran the gastronomy in Lassahn for 35 years from 1967, which was called "Konsumgaststätte" during the GDR period and became the "Schaalseetreff" after the reunification. After a short interruption, the village inn was taken over in 2004 by Dieter Redmann, who ran the business as "Seeblick Lassahn" until 2011. In 2012, the Seeblick pavilion was built, the outdoor facilities were upgraded and operations resumed.

    Climate Forest Biosphere Reserve Schaalsee

    • Freely accessible at any time
    • 19217 Dechow

The former inner-German border strip, the "Green Belt", is virtually predestined to be further enhanced by the creation of new forest areas. So it was only logical to add another climate forest to the existing ones in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern from summer 2010. The first planting campaign took place in April 2011. The total area consists of three parcels of land, two of which were reforested as part of the planting campaign with the Schwerin energy supplier WEMAG.
