Our dignified restaurant is located in the magnificent walls of our historic Chausseeschmiede. Here you can feel completely at home. Our kitchen, which is excellent in the truest sense of the word, refines with love and care what we obtain from local, honest agriculture, traditional hunting and fishing.
That is why we offer you dishes that are mostly freshly prepared from regional products. Mecklenburg dishes have in common that which is hearty, strong and coarse (...from the Mecklenburg cookbook of 1904). Many products come from their very own season, which is why we attach great importance not only to high quality but also to seasonal produce and specialties. Our café and beer garden with a covered, illuminated and heated area of around 112 square meters offers you a very special feel-good atmosphere, as does the large open fire in the restaurant. And served with black beer punch and a roaring forge fire, the history of our house comes to life for you at any time of year, with the culinary experience lingering long in your memory.
We are happy to take your orders for hot meals until the kitchen closes at 21:00 every day.
