Tradition that you can taste!

An absolute must when visiting the Klockenhagen open-air museum. Real craftsmanship is still practiced in the historic bakery: here the bread comes fresh from the old German stone oven. The aroma of oven-warm stone-baked bread and traditional sheet cakes wafts through the entire village ensemble.

Highlight: From May to October, Klockenhäger bread is baked in the vaulted oven in a variety of flavors.

Like the open-air museum, the bakery is open seasonally from Tuesday to Sunday. It is also accessible outside the museum grounds.

April, May, June, September, October: 08:00 to 16:00
July and August: 08:00 to 17:00.
