Pictures, handmade decorative objects, felt work, insect hotels, practical and decorative for home and garden

The artist herself makes the small pieces of art, paints pictures in acrylic, oil, pencil and other techniques, on request also according to your ideas. Children's birthday party once different. Creative children always find new ideas to make themselves. After a happy and creative afternoon, the children then take their small works of art home. (potted works are picked up after drying and firing, all year round) Adults also get their money's worth, individual pottery and felting courses are offered in the creative and craft barn.

Do you have a group you want to travel with? Then come to the countryside in West Mecklenburg. We offer accommodation and catering in an almost 300-year-old manor house. You have plenty of space for your own activities in our houses and our castle park. The castle ghost comes free of charge!

Goldenbow Manor

The Goldenbow manor house is one of the oldest manor houses in Mecklenburg. However, the building, which has been in ruins since 1984, was saved and has been under reconstruction since 2009. Today, the manor house can be experienced at various events. Those who would like to stay longer can get to know the house and its dedicated owners through the "Landvergnügen" campaign with their own caravan.

The Schaalsee-Camp is located between the Schaalsee and the Salemer See. Campfire sites, covered wagons and teepees to spend the night make the charm of this place (no permanent campers). Gallin Manor - organic butchery

The Gallin estate is a versatile agricultural business in the west of Mecklenburg. We manage a contiguous arable and grassland area of 1000 hectares in the scenic UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Schaalsee. An organic butcher's store with farm store and farmhouse parlor belongs to the estate. We have been certified organic for over 20 years.

Zarrentin Monastery

The former Cistercian nunnery "Himmelspforte" is located on the southern shore of the Schaalsee. The monastery complex, which is well worth seeing, can be visited. There is an exhibition on the history, as well as guided tours and audio guides.

Interesting insights into the life of bees are offered by the educational and show garden of the Bantin Beekeeping Center, located between Wittenburg and Zarrentin.

KUNSTRAUM TESTORF – Gallery for Contemporary Art and Paper Workshop

Anke Meixner's workshop and gallery is located in the heart of the UNESCO Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve. This is where she creates unique works of art out of paper. The extensively renovated residential and stable building of the farm from 1903 is surrounded by a large garden. Guests are always welcome but must make an appointment.

At the edge of the Biosphere Reserve Schaalsee lies the small village Valluhn. Directly at the entrance to the village is the Trakehnerhof, where about 80 horses have their home. In addition to accommodation in simple guesthouse rooms with breakfast, the equestrian farm offers riding lessons for young and old, horseback rides and also Kremser rides in the beautiful surroundings.
