Theater and festivals

The whole country is a stage

Stage of the Störtebeker Festival in Ralswiek on Rügen with audience, medieval backdrops and view of the Baltic Sea.

Big and small highlights

Picturesque landscapes and historic places are transformed into stages full of poetry and music throughout the vacation region. One of the most popular series of events is the Festival Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Throughout the year, renowned artists enchant the audience at various musical events.

And the Schwerin Palace Festival also brings together all the best things: a picnic in the park, a fairytale castle as a theater backdrop and great productions.

In addition to the large stages, the small stages and screens also shine. They can be found in castle parks, health resorts and sometimes in the middle of nature and on the Baltic Sea beach. Film, music, theater and cabaret - there is something for every taste all over the vacation region. But as different as the events may be, they all have one thing in common: a great atmosphere and a relaxed vibe.
