For example, how about a short Radtour along sparkling lakes and through shady coastal forests? Simply get on your bike, roll off on largely flat stretches and stop again and again along the way wherever it's nice - picnic, splash around, skip stones over the water. Totally uncomplicated, totally relaxed, totally summer.

3. cool heads on guarded beaches

Whether lakes or Baltic Sea beaches – many Beach sections and bathing spots are supervised by lifeguards. This gives you a safe feeling – and your kids the freedom to discover the water without a care in the world.

4. cool temporary home

Young captains snuggle up on Hausbooten in the bunks, knights and princesses dream in real slippers, and little robbers romp around on the , in the vacation home or at the campsite. And of course there are also many certified hotels with lovely family offers waiting for you.
