The fine sandy beach of Warnemünde offers state-of-the-art accessible beach access during the season.
Warnemünde beach is one of the main beaches of Rostock seaside resorts. It is characterized by fine-grained white sandy beach with few stones and shallow water in the shore area. With a width of up to 200 meters, it is also considered the widest of the Baltic coast of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The use of the beach is free of charge in the Rostock seaside resorts. The Warnemünde beach promenade is a popular promenade from the lighthouse to the beach path and is completely accessible.

Water rescue: The beach sections 1 to 24 in Warnemünde are guarded by the lifeguards of the DRK Wasserwacht during the season from May 15 to September 15. Several lifeguards work here on a voluntary basis and ensure the safety of bathers.
