The Landhotel Rittmeister is a small, privately run house on the southern outskirts of Rostock. It is idyllically situated in a former village centre of the Rostock district Biestow. Behind the large lime trees and near a horse stud farm, you will find a modern hotel with restaurant, vinotheque, distillery and a small sauna.
The restaurant building, built in 1910, once served as a village school. Since its reconstruction in 1994, it has been run as a restaurant by the Barnehl family. Fresh products, herbs from the own garden, homemade cakes and many creative dishes will satisfy your palette. The "Rittmeister" is also the only distillery in Rostock. The Rittmeister distillery offers many high-quality fruit brandies, grain distilleries and liqueurs. A vinothek with many choices of wines and a cigar lounge also belongs to the culinary delights at the Landhotel Rittmeister that you should not miss.
