Authors present their short texts on an open-air reading stage
"terrain vague" is more of a reading meadow than a reading stage. The founders Everest Girard, David Lorenz and Claudia Schlegel invite two to three authors, mostly from Rostock/M-V, to readings in gardens or courtyards and read short texts together with them in a program lasting around an hour. The reading locations and atmosphere change, but the setting remains the same: a chair, a table, a loudspeaker. The audience sits on blankets or folding chairs. Parallel to the reading, a text is created - everyone is allowed to take notes and add pieces of text without knowing what is in the previous sections. At the end, the text is revealed in its entirety and read aloud.
Admission free, donations welcome
