Teterow speedway pikes start the season with a home race
MC Bergring Teterow is once again fielding a team for the Speedway-Liga-Nord this year. The "Hechte" will kick off the new season on Saturday, April 18, 2025, in the Bergring Arena at home. Starting at 1 pm, team manager Stephan Lönnies' protégés will welcome the serial winners of previous years, the Meißen Hornets, MSC Dohren and new local rivals, the Stralsund/ Neubrandenburg cross-association racing community. A total of eight teams are competing in the third-highest German league this year, with each team having to contest one home and three away races. In addition to home-grown riders Danny Knakowski and Mika Frehse, the Bergring team will have Tim Arnold and junior German B-II champion Bruno Preibisch on the grid at the start of the season. Paul Weisheit is standing by as reserve driver. The MC Bergring is hoping for a large attendance.
