This training is particularly suitable for people interested in mushrooms, educators, teachers, parents, nature and landscape guides, mushroom experts, etc.

In cooperation with the German Society for Mycology (DGfM), the Müritz National Park, the State Office for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Geology and the Mecklenburg Lake District Tourist Information Office.

No previous knowledge is required, just an interest in nature and enthusiasm for mushrooms. It takes place in the youth forest home in Steinmühle.

As a mushroom coach, you can share your knowledge with others and inspire people of all ages for the wonderful world of mushrooms. Whether you want to deepen your own knowledge or pass on mushroom knowledge to children, friends or public groups - this course is enriching.

The mushroom coach training course is based on DGfM guidelines and "can" be completed with an examination and a certificate after six teaching days of eight hours each.

The course teaches solid basic knowledge about mushrooms and introduces around 30 species that can be used creatively - for example for dyeing or paper production.

In addition to playful knowledge transfer, we practise excursion planning and group leadership. Sharing knowledge and experiences with other participants provides valuable inspiration.

The course costs € 470.00 per participant (including DGFM information materials) and is offered in 2 blocks spread over the year 2026. Accompanying material can be purchased during the course.
