Between powerlessness and activism: Mental health in times of climate crisis.
The climate crisis is no longer just an ecological or social challenge - it is also leaving a noticeable mark on our mental health. Feelings of paralysis and powerlessness in the face of global change often alternate with the urgent impulse to save the world through activism. But how do we find a healthy inner balance in these turbulent times?
This special event offers you a safe space to explore precisely these questions. The format is deliberately divided into three parts and combines a lecture, exhibition and creative workshop to create a holistic experience.
Under the expert guidance of Sarah Stapel, you will engage intensively with the psychological aspects of the climate crisis. In addition to well-founded impulses from science, the main focus is on practical action: in the workshop part, you will develop creative approaches to channel difficult emotions, build resilience and find ways out of helplessness towards a healthy, self-determined ability to act.
