The group exhibition "La Mer" at Galerie BlackBox brings together works by eleven artists from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Berlin who approach the sea in different artistic forms of expression.
From May 2 to July 5, 2026, the group exhibition "La Mer" will be on display at Galerie BlackBox. On display are works by eleven artists from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Berlin from the fields of drawing, painting, photography and sculpture.
The sea forms the starting point of the exhibition: it characterizes the region, determines light and landscape and has always fascinated people. The works on display approach the theme with different perspectives and artistic means. The result is a multi-layered exhibition space that immerses visitors and conveys a message in turbulent times: Empathy instead of cacophony.
