Concert in the Baroque Ballroom
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was not only a master of the operatic stage, but also a subtle composer of art songs. Mezzo-soprano Yuri Mizobuchi and baritone Stephen Barchi, together with pianist Graham Cox, present a varied program that combines Mozart’s musical humor, his dramatic expressiveness, and his lyrical depth. In the intimate setting of the ballroom at Mirow Castle, familiar opera melodies meet rarely heard songs—an entertaining and at the same time moving portrait of the great composer.
