Emotional folk pop from Amsterdam
With her enchanting folk-pop songs, Sterre Weldring gives free rein to raw emotions, portraying them as grand and dramatic as they sometimes feel. At the same time, there’s always a certain introspection, which Sterre captures in philosophical lyrics with a subtly dark, romantic undertone. Since developing her style while studying songwriting in Brighton and philosophy in Amsterdam, Sterre has combined this knowledge to give her stories words and melodies, inspired by artists such as Tom Odell, Florence + the Machine, and Ben Howard. Over the years, she has achieved success on streaming platforms and performed at venues such as Paradiso Amsterdam, Sofar London, and on Radio 2 (Netherlands). Her third EP, *Along the Lines of Loving*, is set to be released in 2026.
