The Vogler Quartet and the "Klangtreff" Duo perform Stravinsky, Piazzolla, and Schubert
The Vogler Quartet, together with the “Klangtreff” duo, invites you to an extraordinary chamber music concert on October 18, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. The program brings together works from different musical worlds: Stravinsky’s “Suite Italienne” opens the evening with themes from his ballet music “Pulcinella” and a wittily reimagined look back at the Italian Baroque tradition. In Piazzolla’s “Five Tango Sensations,” the characteristic rhythms of the tango nuevo meet the precision of chamber music and take on a special intensity through the combination of accordion and string quartet.
The program concludes with Franz Schubert’s String Quintet in C Major, D 956—one of the most significant works in the chamber music repertoire. Schubert’s swan song of chamber music unfolds with lyrical intimacy, great formal breadth, and extraordinary expressiveness. The concert will take place in the ballroom of the Webasto company.
