Every August since 1995, Ludwigslust's baroque palace park has been the main stage when international artists perform on over 20 stages. They entertain and enchant the audience with artistry and acrobatics, comedy and clowning, masks and marionettes, puppetry and pantomime.

    Benefit concert with Trøstesang on May 3

    We invite you to a special kind of concert on May 3 in St. Paul's Church in Schwaan - "Trøstesang" (consolation singing). The three musicians from Rostock, Thomas Braun (violin, flugelhorn), Karl Scharnweber (piano, harmonium) and Enrique Marcano González (double bass) present their heart project, with which they have been touring nationally and internationally for several years. Their love of Scandinavian music brought them together to form a trio. Inspired by a title by the Norwegian composer Gjermund Larsen, the music they play describes exactly the emotional effect of the songs of consolation. In perfect harmony, they play wonderful Scandinavian compositions and Karl Scharnweber's own works with changing instrumentation. A truly recommendable concert of cool beauty and deep emotions awaits the audience. The Schwaan Cultural Promotion Association and the Evangelical Lutheran Parish of Schwaan look forward to welcoming you to this concert. The entrance fee of €15 per person will be donated in full to the Evangelical Lutheran parish of Schwaan for the renovation of the south portal of the church.
