7,000 square meters filled with stinging nettles, ground elder, ribwort plantain, and long-forgotten medicinal herbs: At the Ramin Manor in Vorpommern, an ecological wild herb paradise awaits—a place to marvel, learn, and discover.
Anyone who thinks weeds are worthless has never set foot in the park at the Ramin Manor. Across 7,000 square meters, the soil of Western Pomerania yields all it has to offer—free of pesticides, completely natural, and harvested by hand: stinging nettles, dandelions, and lemon balm alongside sorrel, ground elder, and ribwort plantain. Herbs that once fell into obscurity and now quietly await their rediscovery here.
The Ramin Manor is fully dedicated to the knowledge of these plants. In the on-site herb workshop, the wild herbs are gently dried and handcrafted into blends—according to recipes that the team continually refines. All products are 100 percent organically grown, sourced directly from the estate’s own garden.
But the estate is more than just a production facility: it’s a gathering place that invites visitors to get involved. Wild herb walks lead through the park and explain what grows there and why. The Wild Herb Children’s Academy turns the youngest visitors into little herb connoisseurs. Workshops on natural cosmetics, edible wild plants, or traditional nutrition show just how much this garden has to offer—and how much more there is still to discover.
Ramin is located in Vorpommern, near the Polish border, in a landscape that takes its time. Anyone who comes here slows down—and in doing so, listens a little more closely to the rustling of the garden.
