Idyllically situated and quiet vacation home with personal charm in the middle of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Schaalsee.

Cozy small detached vacation home surrounded by 2400sqm garden with unobstructed views of fields, pastures and forest. The object is located about 500 meters walk from the Schaalsee in total tranquility in Bernstorff near Lassahn in the middle of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Schaalsee. A vacation here is ideal for relaxation and nature-based recreation. The vacation home is suitable for two to four people (max. six people double mattress in roof mezzanine). It has a size of about 70sqm on two levels and is equipped with central heating, a complete kitchen and a large garden with fruit and nut trees. The garden has an area of about 2,000 sqm, has garden furniture and is very child-friendly (swing, sandbox, playhouse). A small paddock for horses is located in the immediate vicinity.

The Gallin estate is a versatile agricultural business in the west of Mecklenburg. We manage a contiguous arable and grassland area of 1000 hectares in the scenic UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Schaalsee. An organic butcher's store with farm store and farmhouse parlor belongs to the estate. We have been certified organic for over 20 years.

KUNSTRAUM TESTORF – Gallery for Contemporary Art and Paper Workshop

Anke Meixner's workshop and gallery is located in the heart of the UNESCO Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve. This is where she creates unique works of art out of paper. The extensively renovated residential and stable building of the farm from 1903 is surrounded by a large garden. Guests are always welcome but must make an appointment.

Climate Forest Biosphere Reserve Schaalsee

The former inner-German border strip, the "Green Belt", is virtually predestined to be further enhanced by the creation of new forest areas. So it was only logical to add another climate forest to the existing ones in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern from summer 2010. The first planting campaign took place in April 2011. The total area consists of three parcels of land, two of which were reforested as part of the planting campaign with the Schwerin energy supplier WEMAG.
