Readings and events take place regularly in the "other bookstore". Here the name says it all: "other" books, "other" reading, "other" perspectives!
"Selling books in order to be able to do cultural work!" was one of the principles with which Petra Fehlhaber founded the "other bookstore" in 1990 on 42 square meters of sales space. And really from the first day on, events were held regularly in this small space at Wismarschen Straße 6/7 in front of mostly packed audiences. In addition to a few well-known authors, many little-known authors are invited, from the beginning and more and more often foreign and foreign-language authors.
