Immerse yourself in a bygone world - the world of the Mueß villagers. Here - in this place - farmers, shepherds, cottagers and craftsmen once lived with their families. Several generations under one roof together with the animals.
Trace everyday life and the places where villagers used to live and work - in farmhouses and cottages, in barns and stables, on farms and meadows, fields and farmland.
Take a look into parlors, chambers, kitchens or even a grocer's store. Many rooms are furnished down to the last detail. In addition, display boards and showcases illustrate the development of a Mecklenburg village from the 17th to the beginning of the 20th century. You can currently visit: the North German hall house with a barn, the shepherd's cottage, the Büdnerei and the smithy, as well as exhibition areas on farm animal husbandry, rye growing and three-field farming.
