Felting unique wool items
Lasee stands for original felting craftsmanship - a process in which pure, shorn sheep's wool is turned into durable, unique items using water, soap and muscle power. The natural wool fibers are carefully compressed by hand to create firm, leather-free "skins" and objects that are warm, robust and surprisingly light at the same time.
The wool used comes from old, hardy sheep breeds from the region around Lake Schaalsee and is obtained in a sustainable and animal-friendly way. Each piece retains the individual structure and character of the original fleece - resulting in unique seat cushions, rugs, wall objects or decorative individual pieces for the home and garden.
Lasee also offers workshops for anyone who would like to experience this special craft for themselves: In small groups, visitors can make their own felt object - such as a seat cushion or "sheepskin" - step by step and discover the creative work with their own hands.
