Depending on the hunting season, we also offer a rich selection of local game meat and game sausage, thanks to close cooperation with the Schildfeld Forestry Office. Whether beef, pork, poultry or game: we know exactly where our meat comes from.
The Landfleischerei F. Behnke was taken over in 1956 in Vellahn by Ilse and Fritz Behnke. Since 2000, the grandson master butcher Carsten Gühlstorf has been running the family business, supported by five expert employees - and last but not least by the boss Theresa Gühlstorf. Managed by master craftsmen, the butchery also trains junior staff for the butchery trade. We are a partner of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve River Landscape Elbe and are actively committed to sustainable regional development in the biosphere region!

Convince yourself of this in our store in Vellahn or visit us at the weekly markets in Boizenburg (Wednesday and Saturday 8 am - 1 pm) and at the church in Neuhaus (Thursday 8 am - 12 pm).
