Viewpoints, Spa and health facilities, family-friendly

The Graal-Müritz spa forest is a 13-hectare nature reserve. The white sandy beaches are just a few steps away, allowing nature and the sea to merge harmoniously.

The forest area has been officially recognized as a spa forest since April 2020. In the middle of the green landscape of the Baltic health spa, this forest uniquely combines the healing experience of nature with the fresh sea breeze of the Baltic Sea. With areas such as the Sound Forest, the Green Classroom, the Active Forest and the Relaxation Forest, the spa forest in Graal-Müritz offers a perfect combination of relaxation, education and exercise. Here, body and mind can be brought into harmony and the healing power of nature can be experienced intensively.

Special features of the spa forest:

Sound forest
In the sound forest, visitors can create gentle sounds with instruments made of wood and other natural materials and be inspired by the natural music of the forest.

Green classroom
This area vividly conveys the valuable ecosystem of the forest. As an educational space, it promotes ecological awareness and deepens understanding of nature and the environment.

Active forest
The active forest promotes sporting activities and offers a wide range of exercise options for all age groups. In addition to exercise equipment and a barefoot path, visitors can benefit from a varied range of activities to promote physical fitness.

Relaxation forest
The relaxation forest is the quietest area of the spa forest. Equipped with outdoor loungers, guests can relax under the treetops and immerse themselves in the peaceful atmosphere of the forest. This form of forest bathing has been proven to have positive effects on body and mind. Studies show that forest bathing lowers blood pressure, reduces stress and deepens breathing - a natural method of promoting inner balance.

Forest bathing
Forest bathing (Shinrin Yoku) is a scientifically recognized healing method from Japan. By consciously experiencing nature and immersing oneself in the atmosphere of the forest, mental and physical balance is strengthened. Spending time in the forest has a positive effect on health by reducing stress hormones and promoting relaxation.
