Visit Zarrentin am Schaalsee and enjoy your time in our large, bright vacation apartment with a fantastic view of the Schaalsee!

The vacation apartment for 4 persons is located in a converted barn, directly on the Schaalsee. On the former hayloft are on two levels living room with fireplace, kitchen, bathroom, a small room with two beds and a large room with a double bed. You can see the Schaalsee and the bathing area from here and at the same time you are in the heart of the town Zarrentin. Children are welcome and stay free of charge until 16 years. Non-smokers, no pets. We are a partner of the Biosphere Reserve Schaalsee and holder of the regional brand "For body and soul".

Goldenbow Manor

The Goldenbow manor house is one of the oldest manor houses in Mecklenburg. However, the building, which has been in ruins since 1984, was saved and has been under reconstruction since 2009. Today, the manor house can be experienced at various events. Those who would like to stay longer can get to know the house and its dedicated owners through the "Landvergnügen" campaign with their own caravan.

Anke Meixner's workshop and gallery is located in the heart of the UNESCO Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve. This is where she creates unique works of art out of paper. The extensively renovated residential and stable building of the farm from 1903 is surrounded by a large garden. Guests are always welcome but must make an appointment.

The café-garden of the inn premises has always been the chocolate side of the property. Probably nowhere else can you see the Schaalsee better, understand it better, than from the hill in the immediate vicinity of the St. Abundus Church of Lassahn.

The former Cistercian nunnery "Himmelspforte" is located on the southern shore of the Schaalsee. The monastery complex, which is well worth seeing, can be visited. There is an exhibition on the history, as well as guided tours and audio guides.

The Gallin estate is a versatile agricultural business in the west of Mecklenburg. We manage a contiguous arable and grassland area of 1000 hectares in the scenic UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Schaalsee. An organic butcher's store with farm store and farmhouse parlor belongs to the estate. We have been certified organic for over 20 years.

In addition to accommodation in simple guesthouse rooms with breakfast, the equestrian farm offers riding lessons for young and old, horseback rides and also Kremser rides in the beautiful surroundings.
