The historic estate Rittergut Bandelsdorf still consists of various buildings.
Bandelstorf is mentioned in 1242 as the ancestral seat of the von Preen family. Since 1827 it was owned by the Schlettwein family and from 1908 by Eilert von Voß. The estate includes the manor house, farm buildings, workshops, such as a smithy and a wheelwright's shop, a granary, a manure shed, a weighing house and a coach house. Almost all buildings were built in 1900 and 1930. Remarkable is the renovated weighing house with the tower clock of the company Turm-, Hof- und Eisenbahnuhrenfabrik J. F. Weule zu Bockenem im Harz, which was awarded a Grand Prix for tower clocks at the World Exhibition in Brussels in 1910. Today, the estate is owned by the municipality of Dummerstorf and is used by the "Rittergut Bandelstorf e.V." support association.
