Cultural history, folklore and natural history collections of the Fischland-Darß-Zingst region

The Darß Museum in Prerow on the Fischland-Darß-Zingst Peninsula displays cultural history, folklore and natural history collections of the Fischland-Darß-Zingst region. Ship models, pictures, nautical equipment as well as souvenirs from England and the Far East bear witness to the daring voyages of the seafarers, Darßer house doors and gable decorations to their traditional building culture. Unique in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is the fresh plant exhibition to see, feel and smell. Every year there are several special exhibitions on art and ancient culture.
