Let yourself in for a change of perspective! We explore with you the eventful history of Rostock from the first Slavic castle to the present. In the city harbor you can discover many big and small milestones of our old Hanseatic city. Because everything began at the water. Get on board and experience a city tour of a different kind! You are the protagonist and paddle in a two-man kayak at your own speed. The group gathers at prominent meeting points to learn interesting facts about Rostock. Observe the impressive scenery of the city with a little distance! The Unterwarnow offers besides wonderful urban and maritime views a lot of nature. With a little luck, kingfishers and even the sea eagle can be observed.
Before each tour there is a crash course in paddling and safety. Only then do you go out on the water. The equipment includes a kayak, paddle and life jacket as well as a spraydeck to protect us from splashing water and on cooler days also from the cold.
