Concert Hall at the University Square

In the heart of the Hanseatic city of Rostock, on Universitätsplatz, is probably the most beautiful concert hall in all of northern Germany - the Baroque Hall. It was built in 1750. Its impressive design has been preserved mostly true to the original.

The representative ambience of the Baroque Hall is used for festive events, receptions and concerts. In recent years, for example, it has hosted performances as part of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival and the Mecklenburg Chamber Soloists, piano recitals, smaller theater productions and readings, as well as various exhibitions and conferences.
