Kunstkonsum is the joint studio of Stefan Reiter and Heilke Freia Heller and is located at Badstüberstraße 85/87 on the corner of Lange Straße, in the historic town center of Barth. The studio combines artistic production, presentation and art sales in one place and is an integral part of the regional art scene.
The focus is on the individual works of the two artists:
Heilke Freia Heller works in the field of abstract painting, collage and jewelry design. Her works are created through the interplay of color, structure and layering and move between free form, materiality and expression.
Stefan Reiter works with photography and painting. His works combine a reduced visual language with precision craftsmanship and a fine feel for details and materials.
Kunstkonsum is first and foremost a working studio, but is open to visitors at regular times. Exhibitions, presentations, small events and meetings take place here at irregular intervals. Visitors have the opportunity to get to know current works directly at the place where they were created and to discover and purchase art in a personal atmosphere.
As part of Barth's cultural life, Kunstkonsum is embedded in a network of galleries, artisan markets and local cultural initiatives.
