4th Day of the Open Monument
free of charge to all castles and monuments
Open Monument Day is always held on the 2nd Sunday in September.
On this day, many of the otherwise inaccessible monuments are open and can be visited as part of guided tours and exhibitions. Be sure to make a note of this date!

First cited at the end of the 12th century, castle Penkun is nowadays one of the last preserved castles once owned by the dukes of Pomerania.
