5. contemplative Christmas time with castle romance

The Ludwigslust Castle Christmas in a baroque ambience is something very special. Let yourself be enchanted every year on the third weekend of Advent. One of the highlights is the castle in a blaze of light, and you can also look forward to arts and crafts, all kinds of homemade products and culinary delights from the region.

At the Christmas market in the castle wall in Plau am See, you can marvel at great craftsmanship, music, lots of hands-on activities for young and old and theater of a very special kind.

The Festival Winter of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival unfolds with its Advent and Christmas concerts for musical enjoyment in a historic castle setting.
