Hands-on and the sensible use of aids
This advanced training workshop teaches you the ability to safely and effectively support and correct your students in asanas through touch and the use of aids such as blocks, straps, bolsters and blankets.
The aim of the training is to understand hands-on as an empathetic tool that offers support on a physical and mental-emotional level and brings depth, clarity and safety to your students' individual yoga practice.
The contents are:
Teaching the principles and techniques for manual corrections, including the right touch and pressure
Learning the anatomically correct alignment of various asanas and how these are supported by hands-on and tools
Deepening knowledge of various aids such as blocks, straps, blankets, bolsters, chairs
Adaptation to individual needs / learning how hands-on and aids can be adapted to different body types and abilities of students
Extensive practice of the techniques learned in partner work
