Democracy Conference organized by the Schwerin Partnership for Democracy, with support from the Mecklenburg State Theater and the Schwerin Singakademie

This year’s Democracy Conference is at the heart of our efforts in the weeks leading up to the state election. We want to send a strong message in support of a diverse, respectful, and democratic society, and we warmly invite you all to join us!

3:00–4:00 p.m. “Schnauze voll von Leise” (Fed Up with Silence)
Political participatory program for children and teens, with live music by BasiGGS, Running Hands, and the band The Check

4:00–5:00 p.m. Concert
Misch-Masch (a collaborative project by MST and Miteinander Ma'an) presents: Kabakou Soul. Afro-beat with
South American influences

5:00–7:00 p.m. The Land We Want to Live In
Powerful performances from all departments of the Mecklenburg State Theater, speeches, and group singing with visitors who love to sing (sheet music also available in advance)
