What Remains? Writing Workshop with Author and Editor Philipp Bobrowski
Some goodbyes are dramatic and final; others happen almost unnoticed: A chapter of life comes to an end, a person is gone, a place is left behind, a certainty no longer holds true. Can something new begin there? In this writing workshop, we’ll explore the themes of farewell and moving on through words—words we sometimes only realize are there once we start writing. We’ll write about memories, losses, transitions, and new beginnings. No prior experience is necessary. The goal isn’t to write “well” or in a literary style. Simple writing prompts will open up space for your own thoughts and texts. Whatever emerges may be personal, fictional, quiet, serious, or lighthearted.
Participation fee: 50 €, registration at reservierung (at) literaturhaus-rostock(dot)de
