Vernissage of the exhibition "newspectives - Marine ecosystems in transition" with lecture performance
How are algae sugars broken down and how can these transformation processes be made usable for us humans? In the lecture performance, Dr. Marie-Katherin Zühlke's scientific lecture on the usability of algae will be accompanied by the two artists Astrid Brünner and Susanne Gabler. Both the production processes of algae products and their areas of application are illustrated on various levels. During the presentation, the audience will experience, among other things, how bubbles are made from alginate and served in a colourful cocktail for tasting.
Moderation: Dr. Tjorven Hinzke
