A classical music highlight right at the start of the year: we have the honor of welcoming the multi-award-winning Argentinian pianist Dora De Marinis! Dora De Marinis sees herself not only as a pianist, but also as a researcher and teacher; she not only performs worldwide, but also gives seminars and master classes around the world, presides over international music congresses and is a jury member at many music competitions and festivals.

She is particularly interested in researching and developing South American piano music. Together with the Russian violinist Tatiana Tchijova, she has dedicated herself to this for over 15 years as Dúo Ar.Co. Tatiana can also look back on an outstanding career as a soloist and is involved in research and teaching.

The Dúo Ar.Co has performed at various international music festivals and released 3 CDs with works by Guarnieri, Villa-Lobos, Guastavino, Valencia, Garrido Lecca. It is now regarded as a reference for the interpretation of Latin American works for piano and violin.

And since we also have a close connection to Argentinian music... today's program has a surprise in store!
