35 years of German reunification, or the "Anschluss der DDR an die BRD" (annexation of the GDR to the FRG), are an occasion for us to repeat a political comedy from 2017 with Erich Honecker as the protagonist. After 35 years, we should be able to laugh about the whole story - despite the seriousness of the matter, right?

Jörg Schüttauf plays this Honecker and above all his impersonator Otto Wolf. He is a respected state actor and is currently in the dress rehearsal for the play "Vorwärts immer!". A short time later, a fellow actor tells him that Honecker gave the order to shoot at the evening demonstrations in Leipzig, where daughter Anna wants to get her forged papers to leave the country. So what else can the fake Honecker do but reverse the order to shoot?
