From November 24 to January 4, experience how the historic old town of Stralsund is transformed into an atmospheric winter wonderland - at the oldest Christmas market in the Baltic Sea region, right in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Old Town.
Look forward to free concerts, a large ice rink, artistic crafts, sweet treats and lots of Christmas magic.
Alter Markt: contemplation and culture
In the heart of the Christmas market, the culture tent invites you to a varied, free program with concerts, readings and more.
From 4 p.m., Anke vom Sund will read a short Christmas tale - heartfelt, contemplative and with a lot of emotion.
In the evening, Alex Koop will create a cozy atmosphere with singer-songwriter sounds and covers from all over the world from 6 pm.

Gothic town hall cellar: arts and crafts and tradition
From November 24 to December 22, 2025, artists and craftspeople will be presenting special, handmade gift ideas in the historic vaulted cellar.
Neuer Markt: funfair and ice rink
Until 22 December 2025, visitors can expect colorful funfair hustle and bustle with carousels, rides and sweet treats. Right next to it, the large ice rink invites all generations to enjoy winter fun.
St. John's Monastery: Advent like 500 years ago
From December 12 to 14, 2025, St. John's Monastery offers a medieval Advent atmosphere with historical crafts, hearty food, sweets and music.
