This workshop is for everyone who is interested in screaming, growling and being loud.
Whether you are simply curious about your screaming voice,
you want to use screaming in a musical context,
or you want to get to know screaming as a way to
access your emotions, process things and let go
, *Scream your heart out* is the right place for you.
We will:
- do warm-up exercises
- connect with our bodies and personal resources
- learn about ways in which our bodies can support our voices
- try out different screaming/growling techniques
- look at which parts of the body are involved in screaming and
how they create "distortion"
- experience what it feels like to scream in community
- do cool-down exercisesYou
don't need any previous experience, a particularly
loud voice or any other special skills for the workshop. You do not have to sing or shout alone in front of others at any
time. We will do all
exercises as a group.
